Teodora Karaivanova is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc.) and
nationally certified herbalist and certified in Oriental Medicine
by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She attained her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental
Medicine (MSTOM) and her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.
Teodora completed post-graduate courses in pediatric
acupuncture and Shonishin (Japanese techinique). She
interned for four years at a busy NY acupuncture practice
focusing on women’s health and pain management.
She was a Teaching Assistant at Pacific College of Oriental
Medicine.
She volunteers in Central America treating underserved
populations (Integrative Health Project, IHP volunteer
organization)
